High Voltage Cage Motor Liquid Resistance Starter

The LDQG series of high voltage cage motor liquid resistance starter is specially developed for improving the starting performance of large and medium-sized AC asynchronous motors and high-voltage synchronous motors. It is characterized by small and constant starting current as well as gradually increased rotational speed. Its performance is far superior to that of starting by reactor or autotransformer.

This product can be widely applied in the steel, petrochemical, building materials, chemical fertilizer, papermaking, pharmacy, metallurgy, and other fields.

By changing the resistance of the liquid resistor which is connected in the rotor circuit, the LDQG series of high voltage cage motor liquid resistance starter makes the starting voltage of the motor increase with the decrease of motor slip and maintains the starting current at less than three times the rated current.

• Soft-start performance, starting current≤3×rated current
• Consecutive starts of 2 to 3 times; smooth start, causing no impact to mechanical equipment
• Small impact on the grid; during starting, grid voltage drop is within 5% and power factor is above 0.7
